SMGO-0335 Police NCO sword by WKC

This is a decent looking sword with some chrome loss over the steel fittings. The ebony wood grip looks good with a chip in the back and few small chips around the police eagle which is typical for these. The scabbard is dent free and has been repainted. By whom or when is hard to say. The lower part of the scabbard shows some significant oxidation and since it’s been repainted once already, a proper restoration may be in order. The blade is about 29inches and is nick free and there is only minimal signs of wear and oxidation. on the reverse are the sigrunes that are deep and well executed. This is a nice sword that certainly isn’t mint but still looks sharp. The blade is the standout on this example.
