SGM-900 Order of the German Eagle Medal of Merit w/ Issue packet! *SOLD

This Deutsche Verdienst Medaille is a knock out. This is the Bronze gilt version with zinc base metal. Typically the zinc gets badly corroded and the metal looses its sharpness and looks grainy. Not so with this stunner! The gilding has uniformly faded to a gorgeous grey, the base metal is sharp and nearly corrosion free. On top of the gorgeous condition, we are offering it with the original Issue packet! Maker marked on the ring and slight wear to the original ribbon. This medal is the Second type with latin on the reverse.
