SMGL-2603 Fireman’s Dress Axe with frog

These chromed axes are a real treat for almost every collector. A must have for any proper 3rd Reich fireman’s display! This one shows the typical amount of wear that we find on most. the chrome has flaked off in a few spots and there is some spidering or crazing. the black stained and painted hardwood handle is in excellent shape with no major dent or chucks of wood missing. The chrome plated butt end is in similar shape to the axe head over all. The real treat here is the axe holder or frog for vertical suspension with a belt. This piece is rarer then the axe believe it or not. The frog adds tremendous value to this piece and should put it at the top of your list. The leather is in decent shape for its age. It shows some cracking but is still soft and workable.
