SMGL-2604 Deluxe Navy Dagger With Ivory Grip by P.D. Luneschloss

It’s a pleasure to have this dagger up for sale, as it is one of the nicest ones we have had! The dagger has a highly sought after hammered scabbard with a very rare natural deluxe grip. The grip shows natural stress marks and has taken on a very attractive sheen and toning. The scabbard has a few small dings near the tip but it looks excellent overall. The brass has developed a an attractive “oily” look to it. On a piece with this many upgrades it can be easy to over look the blade, which is the standard fouled anchor motif. The blade is also a stunner with a near mint appearance, no major oxidation or unsightly runner marks. This blade rates a 9 out of 10 all day and some dealers would call it mint. The maker mark is expertly executed and shows no signs of wear. This dagger is a real knock out and would be the highlight of many navy collections.
