SMGM-3084 German NCO Visor by Erstklassig Infantry

A very handsome NCO cap in great condition. The wool and piping is in nearly perfect shape with no mothing that i can see. Just some light wear and soiling from being handled over the years. The visor brim has two small dents and light crazing. The eagle is the three-prong type with the prongs made in the same material as the eagle and then just bent over. The wreath is the type where the cockade is affixed to the wreath and not floating around on it’s own in the middle. The stiffing wire was removed for a softer edge by the wearer. The inside sweat band has separated from the back  but the leather has not torn and is still soft enough to bend out. Restoration to this spot would be possible if desired. The liner shows wear but in good shape. There is wear to the underside of the visor brim from taking the cap on and off repeatedly. A nice clean visor overall!
