SMGM-3667 3pc medal Bar EK2, 10 yr NSDAP, Entry into sudentenland

The first thing that jumps out at you on this bar is the Sudentenland medal’s color. It’s Silver! Upon further detail, it appears to have been struck in zinc, then brass coated, but the finish reacted with the zinc just like so many other awards and we have a silver looking award now! The jump loop is clearly brass. The finish has that rough zinc texture as well. I’ve never seen anything like it. This might be right up there in rarity as the zinc made mother’s crosses. The 20 year NSDAP service award is missing nearly all of it’s bronze finish, which is typical with these later zinc versions. The Iron cross in great condition having some minor paint loss and oxidation to the core with a good condition rim.
