The exterior has been repainted with a brush at some point. The inside seems to have the original black paint and original green paint under the visor. The steel shell has some oxidation in spots, especially the neck skirt. The steel wappen shows significant oxidation but no major pitting. The retention clip on the eagles right wing was repaired a long time ago and the split pin at the tail has broken off completely. There is a significant amount of work to bring this thing back from the dead. However, if you are up for the challenge, this might be a rewarding experience for you.
