SMGM-3779 SA Dagger by CD Schaaf RZM M7/56

A rare maker, a 10 on the Mcsaar rarity guide. This one, all proper late period attributes. Plated guards are in good shape with some minor lifting. The grip fitment is very good for a late period piece. The SA roundel is in great shape with no issues. The grip eagle is aluminum. The grip itself is in fantastic shape with no cracks or major dents. Just some light wear. The blade is a comfortable 9 out of 10 in my book. Some runner marks and light scuffs. A little spot that looks “new” which somehow avoided the scuffs. Usually when we see that it is from dried oil or cosmolean. After it is removed, the surface beneath is like the day it was applied. The scabbard is dent free with the original paint. Some minor paint loss and spidering is evident. The lower fitting is missing twi screws and what i think happed, was the fitting was removed to pop out the dented ball end and the screws were never put back. The fitting is pressure fit really snug so i doubt you will have any issues if you leave as is.  Real nice shape over all and a rare maker to cross off your list.
