SMGM-4139 NSDAP Political Leader Great Coat

Here is a real nice great coat that has been strippe of all insignia to wear as a post war coat. You can easily ss where the collar tabs used to be. The coat is has the initials EK hand embroidered in red. The buttons are all in good shape and there is no major wear on the outside but there are some moth nips here and there with a significant moth tract at the rear but it’s in the vertical hem so it’s not visible when in wear or display. There is about a 1inch tear to the fabric on the very bottom that is tough to see as well.  None of these spots are too distracting in my opinion. One of the armpit seams has opened up a bit as you can see from one of the pictures but again, not visible when displayed. The inside is pretty good but there is some wear to the silk lining. For the money, it’s a fantastic display item. It’s also a clean base for a proper restoration. There is no size stamp but shoulder to shoulder seam is 18″, Shoulder seam to cuff is 12″ and Shoulder seam to bottom edge of coat is 109″
