SMGM-4138 Luftwaffe M40 helmet by Quist size 64 *ON LAYAWAY

A real nice helmet with a T1005 batch number. The leather in the liner and chin strap are almost as good as you can find. The eagle shows some darkening and cracking, but it’s all there. The right wing shows a little more discoloration from some rust. The shell is in fantastic condition and the paint looks great. The wear to the paint is a circular pattern at the top, most likely from repeated stacking for liner-less helmets on top of this one. Clean but vintage looking helmet.
