An awesome early helmet with the leather band. Even though the rest of the liner is really falling apart, it’s nice to have this leather in place to prove it’s a true 1916 rather than a 1917. The size mark is there but hard to read looks like “G62” and measuring the outside seems to confirm this. No dents or major rust problems, just your standard light wear and oxidation. A real nice example overall.
