Description
Cut down to 13inches this plated blade remains in near mint condition. There is a noticeable ding on the spine about halfway down. The Hilt unit number matches the number stamped into the scabbard throat. The grip plate was repaired a long time ago. The lower rivet broke and split the grip plate. So another holes was made and a new rivet installed. They also moved the police eagle up a bit as we can see the old set of holes for the eagle prongs. The scabbard shows moderate to heavy wear. The frog shows heavy wear and some damage as well as the portepee.
