SMGN-0770 Late Model Heer Dagger by Paul Seilheimer

This is on the “want” list for many dagger collectors due to it’s scarcity and cool logo depicting a dog with a sword. This dagger has a late war type grip with a small crack at the top near the pommel. Nothing to worry about though. The grip has a wood core. The pommel, ferrule and generic cross guard all have a very handsome dark toning that the silver plate took on. The scabbard is nearly dent free with just a small one near the tip. There is finish loss and light oxidation the scabbard. The blade shows evidence of finger oils that have been etched into the metal and some light polishing which to be frank, needs to be redone to even it out a bit. All the original cross graining remains which is nice to see. The logo is clean and looking sharp.

A scarce dagger to find, don’t wait on it.
