A very neat looking helmet with the Merchant Marine insignia painted on the front..maybe it’s an early type of decal. Im not sure of the exact use of this helmet, but im leaning towards a shipyard foreman or something similar. If you know more specifics, shoot me an email. The tag on the inside says “mine safety” but hard to make out the rest. It is a fiberglass shell type helmet.
