SMGN-1460 Belgian M 1916/35 Infantry bayonet

Excellent blued double edged crudely made “fish bone” blade. C in a circle marking on the ricasso.

This has a 13.5inch blade with near mint condition bluing remaining on the blade. The Scabbard seems like it is a cut down version based on the welded step. I would assume that these were longer for WW1 use and then cut down and reissued for WW2 use. Not sure on that but it would make the stepped scabbard make sense. The blades on these are pretty neat and it’s sure to be one of the most interesting bayonets in your collection.
