SMGN-1654 Rare Fire Police Presentation Sword Published

Newly available on the website from my personal family collection. A stunning and incredible rare sword with a triple etched 29.5 inch blade. The front or eagle side of the blade has a floral pattern on each side of a dedication panel. The blade shows no major oxidation and only light wear. The dedication reads: “To. R. Treen from the comrades of the fire Police, The City of Hennickendorf”.  The reverse has a fireman’s ladder and tool motif. The hilt is silvered, and the base metal is aluminum. The celluloid grip is in great condition with tight grip wire. The Portepee is near mint, showing only the slightest hint of wear. This sword is shown in Tom Johnsons Volume 8 book on page 199. A rare opportunity to get a rare sword that is in a universally known reference book.
