SMGN-1682 Orts Level Political Visor Named

A stunning example in near mint condition! The Eagle and wreath have a dark coppery looking gilt to them, a nice, matched set for sure. The brown bill does have some crazing and a few chips on the edge. there is one small moth nip on the top of the visor and a few small ones on the lower section. Nothing too distracting at all. the sweatband is in fantastic pliable shape, but it has separated a bit from the front on the bill. The separation is just from the thread breaking, the sweat band is not torn, so this would be an easily repairable item if desired. There is some foam on the inside to hold the shape and it doesn’t seem to be deteriorating or causing problems, so I have left it in. The RZM tag has come loose and was just held in place with glue and not sewn in. It will be up to the next owner on what they would like to do about that. The visor is named to what looks like “Josef Faulhaber” of Karlsruhe. The size measures 57cm. A real nice visor here!
