SMGN-1756 Heer Dagger by Alscoso

A fantastic deep orange grip is the real draw with this dagger. The fittings are all a light weight zinc material which has taken on a dull look with some worn highlights. The pommel nut is more than finger tight. There are no cracks in the grip. The knot was likely added but is correct and does have some fraying. The scabbard is all steel with some oxidation. The blade is fantastic, up until the last 1/3 which for some reason was crudely ground with what looks like a dremel tool. I assume there was rust on the end and some knuckle head decided to do this to get rid of the rust.

So, you get a nice dagger overall with a goofed up blade, but a stunning grip and an added value portepee.
