SMGO-0854 Army dagger by SchuttelHoffer (Asso) W/ Hangers

If you like your daggers to have that vintage look with no signs of cleaning in 80 years, this is your ticket! This untouched example retains all of its original patina and build up in the the grips from years of use. The blade shows some light haziness but no major rust or scratches. Outside of some stress cracks, there are no signs of grip damage. The cross guard is the generic style and has a little wiggle in it. I would not recommend trying to tighten the pommel to fix this because it is already very tight and you risk damaging the grip. These Asso daggers are harder to find and a nice addition to your collection. The portepee appears to be the original one for the dagger with some wear and tear but still looking good with a vintage looking dagger like this. The scabbard is dent free and matches the patina on the rest of the dagger perfectly. There is a bit of oxidation and an old scratch near the tip. The hangers are a nice deluxe type with leather. They show wear but are a good match for this dagger. A great dagger for any collector.
