SMGO-1367 28.5″ RAILWAY EAGLE

A salty eagle that was in a garage for years and never in a proper collection! The aluminum has a dark and dusty patina with some light oxidation on the front. On the back, it has a black protective coating that was put on as per regulations. The three threaded bolts have been snapped off and there is a slight bend to the eagle’s left wing from being pulled off the train car. It is marked on the back with the PS in circle (Bernhard Pinter) maker logo and Wagen 720 Gal Mg Si RZA 7 BLN. These eagles also usually have a strange tooling mark on the top of the head which this one has. They are discussed in detail in Saris’ book.  A fantastic eagle overall!
