From the US Military forums:
“The manufacturer was Wilson-Duggar Co., Inc. of Jasper, AL. Wilson-Duggar Co’s. contract immediately followed Viz Manufacturing Co’s. 1962 contract, the existence of which was revealed last summer by Boyd’s (Slufstuff) discovery of sealed 1963-dated packages containing new Viz Manufacturing Co. scabbards. Wilson-Duggar Co. produced scabbards in 1964, possibly into 1965. The identity of Wilson-Duggar Co. as producer of M8A1 scabbards has been substantiated in both government and newspaper reports of the period.”
