SMGP-1067 Pre War 1924/35 Reichs bahn Collar tabs (engine inspector?)

There seems to be limited information about these and it’s hard to find. I found another site showing a train car version of this calling it a train car inspector. So logically this would be an Engine inspector. However, i wouldn’t be surprised if it was something else, like a locomotive driver or just a higher rank.  The devices are in very good condition and have polished high lights.
