At first I saw glue and a crack and thought this badge was a totally destroyed badge that was epoxied back together. After closer inspection we can see that the epoxy was plated in the grooves that RK always has on the back as so sort of filler and the crack on the wreath, has nothing to do with the glue! So yes, the crack is there and hurts the value. However, the glue is not holding anything together. Some dumbass just thought the badge needed to have those grooves filled. He probrably thought the grooves were a bad thing. You may be able to loosen up the glue with some acetone and a toothpick if you want. I assure you, the badge is structurally sound.
