SMGP-1249 DLV by Paul Weyersberg *SOLD

Here is a DLV with a story or two to tell! It has some major condition issues which are reflected in the price. The scabbard leather is on rough shape on one edge as you can see in the photos. There are also a few dents on the lower scabbard, The fittings are all of the early nickel type. The dagger grip is in remarkable shape considering the condition of the scabbard. The cross guard has the “K” mark on it which we like to see on original early pieces. The black enameling on the cross guard roundels on both sides is significantly chipped. The blade shows signs of surface oxidation but no serious pitting. There are a few small nicks to the blade edges. Overall, if you have been looking for an affordably priced dagger that will still display well, this is a great option.
