SMGP-1609 DRL Sports badge in Silver (steel) *SOLD

This badge is a killer! Silver DRLs are pretty hard to find compared to the bronze. Usually they are a silvered brass. This one is the first that I have seen that’s a silvered STEEL! It’s made by Wernstein jena…a firm who did tons and tons of these badges. Why use steel on this one? It’s 100% period correct, just with steel instead of brass. What nice about that, is that the silver wash comes off and you still have a “silver” look underneath. So it will always look silver no matter how old or worn. You can see the original silver wash on the reverse as well as some recessed areas on the front. A pretty neat badge!
