Description

This is a very early 1933-34 dagger as we can tell from the early Eickhorn logo. The blade shows oxidation spots and some evidence of being cleaned up. Not perfect, but still attractive. The fittings are all early style and cross guard is marked “Fr” which is an appropriate area for Eickhorn to produce daggers for. The scabbard is the early anodized type but as we often see, this one has a lot of finish loss and oxidation forming. The ball end of the scabbard is remarkably dent free, which is a rarity with any SA dagger. The real stand out here is the rare and desirable tiger woodgrain on the grip! The wood grain in this pattern sets it apart from 95% of the other SA daggers out there, making it a real treat. They are always coveted pieces in a collection.
