SMGO-1096 Luftwaffe Officer’s Summer Visor by Erel

A rare visor here by the desirable Erel company! The visor has a removable bullion eagle secured with snaps. The snaps are not seized, and the eagle can be removed easily. Both the bullion eagle and wreath show some oxidation from some humidity exposure at some point. The white cap has some light soiling and stains which is typical of these white caps. Still, very attractive. Inside, there is some obvious moth damage to the leather sweatband, but it is still in good condition and not falling apart. There is some significant wear, were the band meets the bit of Luftwaffe grey fabric. Barely noticeable when on a display and still structurally sound. The extra piece of cork under the sweatband is disintegrated but does not affect the appearance in anyway. Size 56. A great opportunity to pick up a rare cap!
