Typical later period dagger with zinc/potmetal fittings. Steel lower and middle scabbard fittings with a nickel upper fitting and throat. It is not uncommon to find mixed materials on some of these mid period examples since the companies were trying to use up inventory before moving to the all aluminum models. Although much of the leather is present, there is not much holding it on and the scabbard might benefit from some contact cement. The Grip leather is actually pretty good with no major issues. The nickel plated blade does have an edge put on it, presumably from the GI who found it. Not a top shelf example but a nice pick up for a first time budget friendly dagger.
