SMGL-2527 1942/43 Front Seam M1 Helmet

1 in stock

A classic study in early M1 Helmets. This Helmet has a front seam and swivel bails witch dates it around the late ’42 or ’43 period before front seams were phased out. The chin strap is sewn around the bails and has a brass buckle. The helmet has the classic dark cork paint and texture. The shell had a big dent in the top that looks like it was banged back out during it’s service lifetime. The rim has a few dents as well. The liner seems to have been painted over on the outside at one point. There is a crack on the front but the rest looks fine. The liner is named to a David Segovia.
