SMGM-3774 Army dagger By Tiger

The early large style logo with correct early scabbard and generic style cross guard. the grip is solid celluloid and has take on a nice medium orange color. The grip does show some old chips and dents but i still think it look pretty good. The silver plated guard and pommel show wear to the edges which is typical for a dagger like this that was clearly a daily wearing piece. The scabbard shows some dings to the end which seems to have given it a slight curve. for some reason GI’s couldn’t help themselves from using these things to play around or hammer nails. the blade has no doubt been cleaned up a bit over it’s life time and shows signs of previous oxidation, abrasives and polishing. Still, it looks pretty good and the tiger logo still stands out. So if you have been searching for an early tiger and don’t want to break the bank, this is a good option.
