SMGM-4129 SA Kepi Nordmark District by Felix Weissbach of Glauchau, RZM# A1/27

An unusual, cotton upper kepi. These are nice because they are a little more resistant to aging and moth damage. This one still retains it’s bright emerald green like the day it was made! The hat is a little out of shape in spots which is common on these thinner types but, the good news is that with a little steam and some patience, you can get this bad boy to sit a little more proud as it is ridged enough to stay up once adjusted. There are some wear marks, and a line of stitches has come undone above the left ear, but it’s not falling apart and won’t get worse if you handle it properly. The eagle is in mint condition and retains all three prongs.  The sweat band is stiff and has torn in a few spots so care must be taken. You can peel it back to reveal the RZM tag with some care revealing the Hersteller 27 code (Felix Weissbach of Glauchau, RZM# A1/27). Stamped size 56
