The SS-Totenkopfverbände cuffband of Standarte “Thüringen” represents a significant, albeit profoundly troubling artifact from the history of the Nazi concentration camp system. This particular cuffband was produced for members of the 3rd SS-Totenkopf-Standarte “Thüringen” stationed at the newly established Buchenwald concentration camp near Weimar.
