SMGP-2391 Luftwaffe Winter fleece Cap

A fantastic cap here that is in fantastic lightly used condition. In fact, there is so much original wool on the inside, it’s possible it was never really worn. I would imagine the wearer would have trimmed out the excess wool at some point for a proper fit. Gorgeous soft leather outside with light wear and staining. The visor is undamaged with no bends to folds. The The steel snaps shows a bit of oxidation and there is a small tear in one of the ear holes. The insignia is hand sewn in place and in great condition as well. The button that hold the ear flaps in place above the head has come off its original thread a bit but this could be repaired by someone with some known how. A great opportunity to pick up one of the better condition examples of this type of hat.
