SMGM-0204 M35 Single Decal Luftwaffe Previous Winter Camo Helmet with dethatched liner

A stellar condition decal! Helmet shows average wear with some white paint remaining in from previous winter camo. It is easy to see the white paint in the recesses around the rim, vent rivets and old painted chipped areas on the top of the helmet. I can only guess that the paint was removed for the helmet to be re issued. There are no dents and minor oxidation. Shell size 64 (Quist) and batch number 1234 which is kinda cool. The liner is a size 57 1938 Schuberth  werk steel band. There is a kink in the band and few scrapes and bends from whoever took it out in the first place. The leather is soft and still workable as is the chin strap. Some leather conditioner might be in order to keep it this way.   I do not know why there are no liner rivets, nor can i confirm this is the original liner to the shell. A size 57 liner is appropriate for a 64 shell. So if you can find some original split pin rivets you care in business. You can also fine post war ones easily if you don’t feel like waiting.
