SMGL-24709 SS Dienst kontrollbuch (strumbannfuhrer Book) *At Auction

When was the last time you saw one of these? As we know the Germans documented everything, a major reason why so many of them were convicted of war crimes! This leaders control book has tons of short hand forms for the leader to keep accurate records of troops and events. This one, missing the pencil, is in phenomenal condition. These were made to withstand the rigors of daily use and this one was barely used, which is a testament to it’s condition. A few pages are filled out, which you can dive into, but it’s mostly blank. I wonder if they guy lost it or got killed shortly after he started it. Either way, its likely the best condition one you will even find…if you can find one at all. From the Jay Gillespie collection.
